Synopsis
Three months after losing her foster sister to blood magic, Jade is drowning in grief she is not supposed to show and power she barely understands. Surrounded by far stronger Adepts, she cannot tell whether they are protecting her or coveting what she is becoming, and even chocolate cannot fix it.
