Synopsis
Salish trader Two Stones lives between his family’s village and rough mining towns, never fully belonging in either. Honoring a dying friend’s last request, he marries Heidi, a widow newly arrived from back East. Their winter journey to his village turns a pragmatic arrangement into something tender and unexpectedly permanent.
