Synopsis
As part of Z Corps’ Gold Team, Brooks is used to dangerous assignments, not emotional entanglements. When a mission strands him with someone whose life is being slowly squeezed by a ruthless enemy, he finds himself willing to risk his career and his heart to keep them safe.
